| Core Services

Is your portfolio working safely, intelligently, and in alignment with your long-term plan?

All your needs. One integrated relationship.

Clients work with a single team across every dimension of their financial lives — from portfolio construction to generational planning.

Investment Management

Discretionary portfolio management across public markets and alternative investments, designed around each client's return objectives, income needs, and risk tolerance. We build portfolios from first principles — never from model allocations.

  • Fully discretionary portfolio management
  • Public equity, fixed income, and alternatives
  • Tax-aware asset location and rebalancing
  • Accounts held at Charles Schwab or Fidelity
  • Monthly and quarterly performance reporting

Family Office Services

For families with complex, multi-generational wealth, we provide consolidated reporting, coordination across entities, and the continuity of a trusted team that understands the full picture.

  • Consolidated wealth reporting across all accounts
  • Multi-generational investment planning
  • Coordination with legal, tax, and other advisors
  • Entity-level portfolio management (trusts, LLCs)
  • Succession and governance advisory support

Financial Planning

Comprehensive financial planning that accounts for tax exposure, retirement income, and estate objectives — integrated with the investment strategy, not bolted on separately. We coordinate with your existing advisors and attorneys.

  • Tax-aware investment planning and strategy
  • Retirement income structuring and projections
  • Estate planning coordination and analysis
  • Insurance and liability review
  • Both taxable and tax-deferred account coverage

Structured Solutions

One of our flagship capabilities. We source, design, and actively manage institutional-grade structured notes — providing consistent income with built-in downside protection at terms unavailable to most retail investors.

  • Custom notes on S&P 500 and Russell 2000
  • 14 investment-grade counterparties
  • Competitive bidding across multiple bank desks
  • Coupons targeting 7.50%–9.75% annually
  • Minimum 35% contingent downside protection
  • Active lifecycle management — not buy-and-hold

Retirement Planning

Saving enough in order to live comfortably in your retirement should be the goal of every individual.

| Our Edge

The Snowwater Diffrence

Three structural advantages — built over years of institutional experience — that deliver better outcomes for our clients meaningfully.

I — Execution

Institutional Execution Advantage

Our scale creates direct relationships with bank trading desks across 14 counterparties. We don't pay intermediary markups — we compete them against each other.

  • $650M+ in executed structured note volume
  • Direct access to 14 investment-grade bank desks
  • Competitive bidding on every note purchase
  • Intraday execution timed to volatility conditions

The difference between retail and institutional pricing can mean 50–100 basis points more coupon on the same note.

II — Design

Custom Portfolio Design

Every portfolio we manage is built around the client in front of us. We do not select from model portfolios or pre-built shelf products. Every term sheet is written from scratch.

  • No model portfolios
  • Index, barrier, maturity, and coupon tailored per client
  • Strategy reflects objectives, tax status, and horizon
  • Notes designed to precise specifications on each trade

Customization is not a feature we offer. It is the only way we operate.

III — Management

Active Lifecycle Management

We do not purchase structured notes and hold them passively. Our team monitors every position daily, times reinvestment strategically, and tracks credit risk at the issuer level throughout the life of each note.

  • Daily barrier monitoring on all active notes
  • Principal reinvested within 5–10 business days of maturity
  • Volatility-timed entry — accelerate in VIX spikes
  • Credit default swap monitoring per issuer

Retail notes are bought and forgotten. Ours are managed every day.

Our Client Onboarding Process

From first conversation to ongoing oversight.

A consistent four-stage engagement model governing every client relationship.

1

Discover

Our client relationships begin with gathering your information and determining your goals and expectations. We make sure that we’re crystal clear about what you want to achieve before providing any advice.

2

Design

Having thoroughly analyzed your situation, we construct a bespoke investment strategy — including note specifications, maturity laddering, issuer allocation, and coupon targeting — specific to you.

3

Implement

Finally, we agree on who will monitor progress toward your goals. If we handle that responsibility, we will periodically review the situation with you and adjust recommendations as needed.

4

Monitor

We don’t just give our clients plans and then move on to new business. We actively monitor your progress, make course corrections, and, if your goals change, adjust for a new destination. Our job isn’t complete until your goals are a reality.

FAQ

What is an independent financial advisor?

Independent Registered Investment Advisers are professional independent advisory firms that provide personalized financial advice to their clients, many of whom have complex financial needs. Because these advisors are independent, they are not tied to any particular family of funds or investment products. As fiduciaries, they are held to the highest standard of care—and are required to act in the best interests of their clients at all times. They are registered with either the Securities and Exchange Commission or state securities regulators.

What does being a Fiduciary mean?

A fiduciary is a professional entrusted to manage assets or wealth while putting the client’s best interests first at all times. Financial advisors who follow a fiduciary standard must disclose any conflict, or potential conflict, to their clients prior to and throughout the advisory engagement. Fiduciaries will also adopt a code of ethics and will fully disclose how they are compensated.

What separates us from other financial advisors?

As an independent Registered Investment Advisor, we are free to provide advice that fits each client’s specific situation and needs without concerning ourselves with the agenda of a parent company. Our services range from financial planning to investment management to estate planning—we can meet a wide range of needs under one roof. Finally, we are oriented toward providing each client the attention and service they deserve. We treat our clients as individuals and not numbers.

Where is my money kept?

In our advisory role, we never take custody of client assets. We utilize Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. as the custodian of client accounts and as our primary broker. Our relationship with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is an arm’s length transaction with no exchange of funds between Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and us. When your account is established with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., you provide us with limited trading authorization on your account. This authority allows us to process trades directly in client accounts.

How do I move my assets?

Typically, we only need a copy of your most recent account statement and your signatures on a few forms. We will take care of setting up your new account and transferring your assets.
